INFOMAR Seabed Sampling (YouTube)
Description: The INFOMAR project utilises a range of techniques to ground truth geophysical datasets. This movie shows a Van Veen grab sampling device being used to take a sample of the sediment lying on the seabed in Mulroy Bay, Co. Donegal. INFOMAR Assisted Operations - Habitat Mapping (YouTube)
Description: An INFOMAR supported survey conducted by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The purpose of the survey was to investigate submarine structures created by leaking methane gas from the seabed and the associated fauna in the Irish Sea.

INFOMAR Survey operation onboard the RV Celtic Voyager during survey leg CV1301 (Vimeo)
Description: During May 2013, INFOMAR conducted a hydrographic survey along the south coast of Ireland aboard the RV Celtic Voyager. These hydrographic surveys involve the mapping of the seabed surface and underlying geology.

INSS INFOMAR Coverage (YouTube)
Description: Flythrough showing the continental shelf off Ireland's coast which is being mapped by the INFOMAR project and its forerunner the Irish National Seabed Survey. This flythrough was made for a groundtruthing leg which was using an instrument called a vibrocore to take cores from the seabed off the west and north west coast to investigate the glacial history of the area. This research can in turn be used to predict possible changes that may come about due to climate change in the future.
